In addition to areas such as Plymouth and Exeter we also carry out jobs in many other areas and this week the team have successfully completed yet another Devon scaffolding project, this time in Kingswear Devon.
A Devon scaffolding project for a domestic customer
While many of our Devon scaffolding projects are are contract work, this time, the work wasn’t for an Industrial or commercial project but for a customer who is having a turning circle installed at the top of their drive. Due to the nature of the job, heavy-duty scaffold has to be erected so that the drilling company can go down the necessary 6 metres in sections. In the first instance, we had to carry out a site survey and make sure that we made the neceesary preparation for such a large job.
Heavy duty scaffolding required
The heavy equipment is 1.5 ton but when pulling goes up to 6 ton on the extraction of the pulling drill. As you can see from the photos it is quite an intricate job with a lot of scaffolding required. With the property being positioned on the side of the hill, we had to manoeuvre carefully and with the utmost attention to safety for our team. The sturdy structure is now in place and ready for work to commence by the drilling company.
